Adding video conferencing to your interviews has never been easier! Let’s walk through the process step-by-step to ensure you’re set up to connect seamlessly with your candidates.


Step 1: Open the Interview Request

  1. Navigate to the applicant's profile.
  2. Click on Messages, then select Interview Request.



Step 2: Pick a Time

You have two options:

  • Pick a Specific Time: Select the exact date and time for the interview.
  • Let the Candidate Choose: Give your candidate the flexibility to select a time that works best for them.

Step 3: Add Video Conferencing

  1. Scroll down and click the Add Video Conferencing button.

  2. Once clicked, the button will change, and the location field will automatically populate.

    • Important: After adding a video conferencing location, you cannot replace it with another.
  3. Choose your video conferencing option:

    • Select an existing option from your setup.
    • Or click Add New to set up a new video conferencing system.
    • Pro Tip: Pop-ups must be enabled in your browser to complete the setup for a new video conferencing system.


Step 4: Send the Invitation

  1. Select a template or create your own message to your interviewee and then scroll down and click Send Message.
  2. You’ll see a confirmation once the video conferencing request is sent.

What Happens Next?

  • For You: Sit back and relax! The candidate will get an email to schedule their interview (if you gave your candidate the flexibility to select a time that works best for them) and another with the invitation link.
  • For Your Candidate: They’ll follow the email instructions to book the meeting and join via the provided link.

Important Notes

  • You must be listed as a Hiring Manager for this interview to access the video conferencing feature.
  • A synced calendar is required to use this functionality.
  • Other managers without a synced calendar can be added but will need to manually input the meeting into their calendars.
  • When setting up a new video conferencing option, additional steps will be prompted, so keep your browser’s pop-up blocker off during the process.
